What is Fiscal Invoice
A fiscal invoice is, by definition, it's used to document the supply of goods and services.
In some countries, the Z report and fiscal report are the only "fiscal" documents, therefore the other documents are considered as "non-fiscal" documents and the text "NO FISCAL" must be printed on the rest of the documents.
Obligation to issue fiscal invoice
Merchants who are registered for VAT under the tax provisions are obliged to issue fiscal invoices to buyers when they supply goods or services to buyers within the times stipulated by law.
In order for a document to qualify as a valid tax invoice, it must contain VAT and other requirements as required by tax law.
Failure to comply with the requirement to issue fiscal invoices or financial receipts does not constitute a criminal offence, but is punishable by a fine upon conviction. In accordance with local laws and policies.
Who needs to issue a fiscal receipt
Any person who makes any supply is obliged to give to the person who accepts the supply a financial receipt for the consideration paid. Such fiscal receipt shall be issued immediately upon payment effective for the coverage covered.
What is a qualified fiscal invoice
A qualified fiscal invoice should be issued through fiscal cash register, fiscal printer, or any other point of sale system approved by the Authority. Others will be invalid fiscal invoice.
The production of financial receipts is strictly regulated in accordance with the specific tax laws provided by the Tax Authority, and needs to be updated in a timely manner to the new requirements.
If the document was issued through a machine or system approved by the Authority, evidence of such approval (number) must also be printed on the relevant document. The number can be checked by certification documents. Please comply with the tax laws of each country.
